Blue Planet Aquarium

The SeaLife Centre
The Sea Life Centre has over 5,000 creatures including sharks, seahorses, octopus, jellyfish and rays. Little ones will love the educational talks while holding a crab or touching a starfish in an interactive touchpool. A great day out for the family, with the shops and restaurants of The Trafford Centre right on the doorstep.
Nestled beside the Trafford Centre, Chill Factore is the UK’s longest indoor ski-slope. Ski, snowboard, or have a go on the tubing and luge ice slide. Whether you want to learn the basics of snow sports, refine your existing ski technique or simply have fun zipping down the slopes on an inflatable tube, Chill Factore ensures a fun day out.
With 50 acres of garden, Tatton Park not only offers beautiful surroundings, but plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Cosy up in the Stableyard for a cuppa, cake or a spot of lunch, and browse a range of local products and gifts in their speciality shops. Packed with history, and with over 10,000 items on display, you can spend the full day exploring the Tudor Old Hall and mansion.
Silver Blades Ice Rink
Silver Blades Ice Rink offers a selection of skating sessions, plus they hold regular disco sessions and also cater for birthday parties. For those that need a little practice, there are friendly tutorials in their Learn To Skate courses, suitable for both children and adults.
Macclesfield is famous for silk production, so the Silk Museum offers the perfect educational afternoon out. Learn about the process of silk-making, the properties of silk and browse a collection of silk exhibitions.
Hat Works Museum
Love hats? You’ll love a day out at The Hat Works Museum. Learn about the history of Stockport’s hat industry, browse their collection of over 20 fully restored Victorian machines, and over 250 hats in the gallery.
The recently refurbished Altrincham Market is great place to spend the day, with plenty of bargains to be had from the local producers.There’s art, jewellery, gifts, clothing, vintage items and plenty of fresh food stalls.
Knutsford Heritage Centre
Knutsford Heritage Centre is set in a reconstructed 17th century timber framed building on King Street, not too far from the new Courthouse Hotel. There’s a lot to explore, with three galleries over two buildings, a gift shop and a remarkable tapestry over 13 metres long, created by over 3,000 local residents to celebrate Knutsford in the millennium year.
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre features over 2 million LEGO® bricks under one roof! Enjoy a 4D cinema, Kingdom Quest laser ride, Merlin’s Apprentice, LEGO City and more! The kids can enjoy LEGO themed birthday parties and learn building tips from the Master Model Builder Workshops.
