Jurys Inn Oxford Hotel and Conference Venue is delighted to announce the appointment of Liane Venkanna as their new Sales Manager.
Liane joins the team with a strong background in meetings & events and business development having held a number of positions within the hospitality industry as a Sales and Events Manager and Corporate Accounts Manager. Most recently Liane held the role as Corporate Accounts and Events Manager at Amazing Venues. Achieving a great record of success in her two year position, Liane exceeded in meeting new business targets whilst managing a wide range of accounts.
As Sales Manager, Liane will be focused on driving new business into the hotel, as well as building partner relationships to support an ambitious three year revenue plan at Jurys Inn Oxford Hotel and Conference Venue; as such she will be working to raise the profile of the hotel within the local market.

In 2016, Jurys Inn Oxford Hotel and Conference Venue implemented a huge investment of £11 million, completely transforming the hotel facilities with a focus on meeting and events space. Refurbishments involved a complete new look and layout to all 240 bedrooms and public areas including the lobby, bar, restaurant and Juvenate Health & Leisure Club to create a more contemporary, bright and modern environment at the hotel.
The most impressive renovations have been made to the current meetings and events space and the launch of a new, impressive Conference Centre. The centre has 20 fully flexible meetings spaces, including a dedicated boardroom and breakout areas with refrigerated drinks dispensers for refreshment breaks.
The largest meeting room, the University Suite can accommodate 300 people, whilst the other 19 rooms can accommodate between 15 and 200 delegates and are perfect for meetings, conferences and training sessions of any size. All conference facilities now benefit from significant investments into technology and WiFi connectivity.
