The four-times-a-year Marché de Producteurs (Producers’ Market) at Le Saint James Hotel in Bouliac, Bordeaux has been making its mark on culinary calendars as the place to buy fresh, seasonal produce, some of which is not always available to the public. Perception Sales & Marketing will be heading over to the hotel for the last Producers’ Market of the year to stock up for Christmas and some foodie treats!

The next market on Sunday 17 December 2017 will feature a wide array of talented artisan producers, who supply Le Saint James’s Michelin-starred chef, Nicolas Magie for the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant and Bistro Café de L’Espérance. With such incredible produce on offer, he is able to really work his magic, creating and innovating exciting dishes for visitors from all over the world.

There is a Marché de Producteurs every season and it is now an important and much anticipated event in the food lovers’ calendar, providing the opportunity for hotel guests and visitors to stroll across the hotel’s shaded terrace, sampling and buying all the fresh, seasonal produce on display.

Wander around in a relaxed atmosphere and ask the artisan producers anything you wish, from food sources to cooking tips for your plump tomatoes, earthy mushrooms or local seafood including the famous oysters of the region.

Other gastronomical delights include cheeses, wines, crusty breads and escargot and of course there is ample opportunity to watch one of the chef demonstrations or sit down and enjoy some lunch.
