Opening Meeting offers – Free ‘room hire’ for registered charities
To launch the Moneypenny Suite, the iconic event venue is offering registered charities free use of the suite during the launch period. This initiative forms part of their social engagement policy. The hotel are offering complimentary meeting room hire* for registered charity groups. Corporate clients can also enjoy generous launch offers. Introductory day delegate meeting packages (including F&B) starting from as little as £30 + vat per person (min 15 guests). The opening has been well received locally, with lots of enquires for private dinners, training, meetings, conferences and events.
Meetings / Events at The Courthouse
Celebrating its 200th year anniversary this summer, the former crown court provides superb conference facilities in Cheshire. With a capacity for 300 guests, The Court Room at the hotel, offers unrivalled conference facilities for luxury events and banqueting. Most noteworthy is the exceptional ceiling, which creates an incredible sense of occasion for fashion shows, product launches, exhibitions and gala dinners.
All meeting rooms at The Courthouse offer fibre optic Wi-Fi, conference equipment including a projector, screen, flipchart and stationary. Water and refreshments are provided throughout the day. Guests can enjoy lunch in the Barristers Restaurant. The Bar provides the perfect relaxed environment for delegates to enjoy a post conference drink / debrief.
Need accommodation? The Courthouse launches the first phase in July with 11 new bedrooms being launched with 40 more planned for 2020. Need more beds? Worry not, a short 15 minute drive from Knutsford, you will find The Vicarage (the hotel’s sister property) which has an additional 23 comfortable bedrooms.

As a direct result of this development, the Courthouse is already gearing up for the festive season. Building on Christmas 2017, the Courthouse is busy preparing for group and exclusive corporate events. The hotel will host join-in festive parties throughout December, every Friday and Saturday evening. Guests can enjoy an indulgent four course dinner, live music, DJ and dancing for £58 per person. Exclusive-use dates are also available over the festive period at The Courthouse with private dining available for groups of 5 to 300.
What’s next and how to get there?
The next development at The Courthouse will be the Rooftop Gardens later this Summer. This will include a stunning 100 person capacity cocktail and Champagne Bar and lounge. This exciting new event space in Knutsford will feature botanical herbs, a Chef’s garden and seasonal flowers and the plans already look impressive.
Located just 2 miles from Junction 19 of the M6 motorway and 20 minutes from Manchester Airport, the hotel is easily accessible for business and leisure guests. Knutsford train station enjoys direct links to Manchester and Chester. The station is three minutes’ walk from the hotel, making public transport a very viable alternative.

Founded in 2015 by brothers Oliver and Dominic Heywood, The Courthouse is part of Flat Cap Hotels. The Courthouse is located in Knutsford, Cheshire and launched in June 2017.
